Several times over the past week, Global-Pak has been asked about the security and diversification of our supply chain. Some potential clients have struggled with receiving their supplies from China due to the coronavirus halting production. Global-Pak has always implemented diversification of our supply chain, and we have the resources to minimize the risk when globally sourcing FIBCs (bulk bags.)

• We manage our supply chain to be sourced from multiple countries. Though we source primarily out of India, we also have alternate sources from China, Turkey, Vietnam and Mexico. Our primary partners in India are geographically diverse to mitigate risk such as natural disaster, regional labor disputes, or port disruption.
• In addition, we dual approve suppliers whenever the customer allows it. It benefits our customers because we will have samples approved and ready to go at another pre-qualified facility in the event of supply chain disruptions.
• Global-Pak offers expedited services for bulk bags as well, reducing delivery time and getting our customers the bags they need. When our customers are in a pinch and need bags quickly, we offer a flat price program delivering most bag designs to your door in 4 weeks. Due to availability, the fabric weight on these orders may exceed the standard specifications, but we are able to have them delivered quickly and efficiently.

In addition to the relationships above, Global-Pak has its own cut and sew operation for alterations of bags and tailoring of existing inventory that offers quick solutions to unexpected demands or supply side problems.
