I have been in sales and in particular industrial packaging sales for a very long time. Most of my career has been spent at Global-Pak, starting way back in 2002; however, my path is one with twists and turns that let me see Global-Pak from all sides. During the last twenty years, there were opportunities that allowed me to own my own small business, work for a larger regional business, and even work for one of the largest corporations in America. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on businesses and how Global-Pak is set apart from other companies – what makes us who we are. 

Often in sales, whether directly or indirectly, we are selling the “Whys” of Global-Pak and who we are. If you have never done so, take a moment and watch the videos on our YouTube channel. (One of those videos is basically the title of this blog – Global-Pak: Who We Are) It sounds repetitive to re-list everything here, but there is so much that goes into making us who we are and allowing us to give our customers the very best of ourselves. Many companies can tell you they have the best people, or the best customer service, or the best product, but what truly makes Global-Pak different from other packaging companies?

I can start by pointing out the obvious things for you…

• We have our own line of trucks that make deliveries daily
• We have our own in-house manufacturing that operates daily making bulk bags
• We have our own quality lab including a top lift test rig, QUV Machine, & Tensile Strength Tester
• We have multiple warehouses in different parts of the country

• We are our own certified UN Test House

The above things are great, but what really sets our company apart is the “WE” at the beginning of those lines. The “WE” is key at Global-Pak. We have great truck drivers and warehouse workers that are knowledgeable about not only our products, but our customers as well. We have a great manufacturing team comprised of men and women that take pride in making bulk bags domestically. We have a great quality program because we have a great Quality Engineer. Our warehouse runs so well because we have a fantastic Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager. Our products are cost effective, and quality is second to none because we have a whole team of dedicated individuals in charge of purchasing those products. We have an experienced and knowledgeable sales team, who all are willing to go above and beyond for their customers. We have an Owner/President who is present every day and is still by far the most knowledgeable of any of us on any subject we deal with. He continues to create a culture where we can develop and celebrate individual successes, while making sure that the customers stay at the forefront of Global-Pak each day.

At the end of the day, we really are a family. Most of us know each other well even outside of work – we know each other’s spouses and children. The same can be said for most of our customers as well. We all work hard as partners to ensure each other’s success.
